Minnesota summer wedding at home: Hannah + Dan
It was a perfect gorgeous hot Minnesota summer wedding day!. There is something wonderful about having a wedding at your house. All of your family helping get everything set up. One of my favorite things was their little dog hanging out on the wedding dress and being part of the ceremony and day.

How did you meet and fall in love?
Met online, had our first date at mini golf.
How did you choose your venue?
Cost and it meant something to us both to celebrate somewhere that it meaningful to us and we can revisit whenever we like. Our home was the perfect place for our Minnesota summer wedding!
Thoughts leading up to your wedding day?
Not sure how to answer that question. Excitement? Ready for it to be here.
What was your favorite part of the day?
(From Dan) when I met you just before we walked down the aisle together. I can’t choose a favorite moment. Possibly just the small walks and time we had alone together throughout the day.
What is each of your favorite images from your wedding? What makes it your favorite?
Dan’s- the one with the dogs because he loves those dogs like they’re his kids and it’s the only one we really got Maynard to behave for ????
Mine- I love the one twirling because it just shows us being us but I feel guilty Dan’s face isn’t in it haha so the other one I like too because it shows our love without us kissing (we’re more private) so I still feel like I can post it publicly and show it off without being embarrassed/too much PDA.
Is there anything that you would change?
About my wedding day? The weather lol. About photography? No. It was really important to me to find someone willing to be there all day so I didn’t feel pressured/stressed about getting pictures in and was able to enjoy the day and know it was being captured for us.
What is your best advice to anyone planning a wedding?
Spend your budget on what matters to you and don’t fret the small stuff– no one will notice/care anyway and there are so many things you will miss as well.
