Lake Harriet Summer Engagement Session: Emi + Renata
We had the perfect weather for Emi and Renata’s Lake Harriet summer engagement session! Emi and Renata actually met as Damien and Queenie; Damien D’Luxe being Emi’s drag persona and Queenie-Von-Curves Renata’s burlesque character. When you have personalities as colorful as they are you need to find the perfect place for an engagment session!
The Lyndale Park Rose Garden
We started in the rose garden. The flowers were a perfet backdrop for Emi and Renata’s hair!
Peace Garden:
We moved on to the Peace Garden where Renata suprised Emi with a proposal!
Lake Harriet
We ended the evening playing on the lake. Emi and Renata brought their paddleboards. I brought a blow up flamingo and unicorn to take out on the lake with them. Not many engagement sessions where I can wear a swimming suit and hang out in the water.
This last image reminds me of the Little Mermaid and the song Kiss the Girl! Minnesota summer at Lake Harriet is special and full of beauty. I loved this engagement session and being able to hang out at the lake in the water for part of it!
