Festival Palomino: A Trampled By Turtles Festival|Minneapolis Music Photographer
“I think music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everybody loves music.” – Billy Joel
Festival Palomino was held at Canterbury Park. Nine bands, a beautiful day (other than that storm in the middle) and great music!
Hurray for the Riff Raff
The Apache Relay
Charley Bradley and His Extraordinaires
Right in the middle of the show the clouds rolled in and everyone needed to move inside until the lightening stopped and it was safe to be outside.
Spirit Family Reunion was the only band that played inside. They did a great job keeping the crowd happy until the storm passed.
The Head and the Heart,
Low played as the sun went down.
Trampled by Turtles, was the final band of the evening and they put the show together. Rumor has it that they will be coming back next year.
